Dr. Paul Hyland

Chiropractic Physician/Exercise Physiologist/Massage Therapist

Dr. Paul B. Hyland received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Life Science, from Logan College of Chiropractic.  He also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia, with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology. 

Dr.  Hyland is a Licensed Massage Therapist with specialized training in Sports Massage, Neuromuscular Massage Therapy, Injury Rehabilitation, Stress Reduction, Lymphatic Drainage and Reflexology.  He has extensive experience utilizing massage therapy to enhance the benefits of chiropractic.

Dr. Hyland is committed to improving the health and everyday lives of his patients through a natural approach to health and healing.

Dr. Megan Floarke

Chiropractic Physician

Originally from Columbia, IL, Dr. Floarke knew even as a young girl that she wanted to help heal people.  She recognized the importance of a healthy, happy lifestyle and became devoted to sports and fitness at an early age.  Now, as a competitive athlete, collegiate coach, and physician, Dr. Floarke is passionate about her career in chiropractic and teaching the world about safe, natural, long-term healthcare.

Her commitment to excellence shows not only in her athletics, but her work as well.  She graduated seventh in her class with Cum Laude Honors from Logan College of Chiropractic where she obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic as well as a Bachelor's in Human Biology and Master's in Science and Rehabilitation.

Susan

Susan is our Office Manager/Chiropractic Assistant. She makes sure that everything in the office is flowing smoothly and all of our patient needs are being met. Susan also has responsibility for marketing, accounting, billing, and human resources. Susan has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She has to know how to do EVERYTHING in the office, except adjusting the patients—and that’s just what she does. We don’t know how we would function on a daily basis without her.

Melanie

Melanie is one of our Chiropractic Assistants working part-time while attending college. She has her Associates Degree in Science and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.  Melanie hopes to later complete her Master's Degree and become a flight nurse. She enjoys teaching patients how to do exercises to strengthen and stretch their muscles while also helping with the therapies like E-Stim, ultrasound, traction, and laser.  When she’s not in the rehab or therapy rooms, you’ll find her at the front desk answering calls or setting appointments.

Alicia

Alicia handles all payroll and tax issues. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and has worked in payroll for 15+ years. Even though Alicia is our payroll and tax expert, you will find her helping out wherever we need help – filling in at the front desk, helping with therapies, working on marketing projects, or helping with health fairs. Our younger patients love Alicia. She’s great with children.

Cara

Cara is our Practice Representative working part-time both in and outside of our office.  She organizes special events and attends various health fairs and events in our community, educating the public about chiropractic and our office.  In addition to working with us, Cara also works as a Paraprofessional in Special School District, coaches a high school dance team, and owns her own business.  She's extremely passionate about dance and fitness and enjoys helping our patients with therapies and exercises.
